In fairness to our taxpayers and students, Navarro ISD has a strict residency policy. All students will be asked for proof of residency.   Residency Verification for new students is July 18-20. Residency means that the family lives in the district; the fact that a parent may own property in the district does not constitute residency.

New Student Enrollment may be completed at the campus the child will attend.  Once Online Registration is active, it may be completed on a home computer or internet device.  For completion of enrollment, required documentation and processes are necessary and must be brought to the campus/district site for processing.  

New Student On-site Registration will be at the High School Library

  • July 18, 2022  9-11:30am & 1-4pm

  • July 19, 2022  9-11:30am & 1-6pm

  • July 20, 2022  9-11:30am  & 1-4pm

Students enrolling in a Navarro ISD School will need to provide the following documents at On-Site Registration:

  • Parent Driver's license or ID

  • Birth Certificate

  • Student Social Security Card

  • Shot Records

  • Printed or photographic copy of completed Online Registration through Ascender Parent Portal

To fully process students for enrollment in a Navarro ISD School various legal documents must be presented by the parent or legal guardian in order to complete the process.  The following processes must be completed in order to be enrolled into courses, classes, or campuses for the 2022-2023 school year. 

  1.  Residency Verification for new students is July 18-20

  2.  New Enrollment Records Verification 

  3. Online Registration - please bring a screenshot or printout of completed online registration to New Student Enrollment. 

  4. Health History Form or Health History Form Spanish- All parents must provide an updated health form yearly.  These forms must be returned to the school nurse on or before the first day of school.

Online registration is available using the Online Ascender Parent Portal.  However, in order to complete the enrollment process, parents/guardians will need to come to New Student Enrollment to complete Residency Verification and Records Verification.  

New Student Enrollment is open Monday - Friday during regular operating hours at the grade level appropriate campus site.  Parents/Guardians are encouraged to complete the online registration process through the Online Ascender Parent Portal prior to going onsite to present the required documentation.  

For families who are unable to complete Online Registration through the Ascender Parent Portal, computers will be made available at the campus sites to assist families in completing the process.

The free meals program provided by the USDA/Texas Dept of Agriculture for all Navarro ISD students during the pandemic will end with the 2021-2022 school year.  Starting with the 2022-2023 school year, students must complete the meal application to qualify to receive free or reduced meals.  The portal will open July 1st to apply so please visit for more information.   If you fail to complete the meal application prior to school opening on August 17, 2022 your student will be required to pay for school meals.
