Hello Panther Family,

We are steaming ahead to the August 19 opening of school.   We have been preparing for the safety of our students, our staff and our community.  In addition we are getting ready to deliver the most rigorous education in preparation for college and career readiness that you have come to expect from Navarro High School.

We want the opportunity to talk about expectations for the upcoming school year.   Next week, we will be hosting an informational drive through where we will touch on our academic expectations for the upcoming year and let you know some of the things we are putting in place for the safety of our students, staff, and community.

We ask that students and their parents and/or guardians stay in your car.  We will meet you at the car in front of Navarro High School and we will have a short conversation about our expectations and safety protocols.

Our goal is to prepare our students for the college and/or career of their choice, and to do that we must deliver the safest and highest quality of education that we can.

Starting Monday, August 3 at 8:30am to 11am we want to talk to all our freshmen.  On Tuesday at the same time, we want to talk to our sophomores.  We want to talk to Juniors on Wednesday and Seniors on Thursday.  If you cannot make the time slot in the morning, we will have a time from 6pm-8pm on Thursday, August 6 so we can talk to as many of you as we can.

I look forward to meeting you next week and getting ready for the upcoming school year.

Keep washing those hands, wearing these masks, maintain social distance and Go Panthers!!!
