BACK TO SCHOOL 2020
As we prepare for the first day of school August 19th, 2020, we are working hard to provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions for your family. The district Return to School Plan provides an overview of our guidelines and practices for the upcoming year. In addition to this, we hope to provide you with campus specific details on this page that will be helpful.
Campus Specific Safety Procedures
HERE is a guide to some of the safety procedures that will be followed on the elementary campus this school year. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to campus administration.
Meet the Teacher
Teachers will make phone calls to notify parents and students of class assignments on August 10th. Additional back to school information will be emailed to parents at that time, including details for Meet the Teacher. In order to maintain social distancing and provide opportunities for both remote and face to face learners to meet their teachers, we will provide two options to families. Please click HERE for the latest Meet the Teacher schedule. For face to face learners, this will be an opportunity to drop off supplies as well as practice walking into the building using our designated entrances. More information to be posted soon.
Car Rider Drop-off/Pickup Lanes Switched
We are using an additional entrance at the side of our building by the Kinder/1st grade hallways to ensure social distancing when students are entering and exiting the building. This means that PreK-1st grade parents will need to use the car loop in front of our portable building to be close to that entrance. Parents of 2nd and 3rd graders and their younger siblings will use the loop in the new parking lot that unloads/loads at the main entrance of the building. Please see the drop-off/pickup map.
Remote Learning Schedules
Please see below for sample student schedules for our remote learners. Ultimately, remote learners will have individual schedules provided to you by our teachers, but the sample schedules will provide families with an idea of what to expect.
