SOS: Signs of Suicide Program

Attention Jr High Parents:
There was a permission slip that was sent home with your student on 10/21/2019 stating we will be having a SOS, Signs of Suicide Program at Navarro Junior High on October 28th and 29th. The program encourages students to seek help
if they are concerned about themselves or a friend. The SOS Program is the only youth suicide prevention program that has demonstrated an improvement in students’ knowledge and adaptive attitudes about suicide risk and depression, as well as a reduction in actual suicide attempts. If you Do Not
want your child to attend, please send back the form signed by a parent or guardian.
