Principles of Applied Engineering

Navarro High School is offering Principles of Applied Engineering as a new CTE elective. If your child is interested in switching an elective choice to this new elective, please email Mr. Gary - . A description of the course follows:

Principles of Applied Engineering provides an overview of the various fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and their interrelationships. Students will develop engineering communication skills, which include computer graphics, modeling, and presentations, by using a variety of computer hardware and software applications to complete assignments and projects. Upon completing this course, students will have an understanding of the various fields of engineering and will be able to make informed career decisions. Further, students will have worked on a design team to develop a product or system. Students will use multiple software applications to prepare and present course assignments.

The Panthers beat the La Vernia Bears this past Friday 58-45. Tomorrow the Panthers will play Wimberley in Navarro with 5,5, and 6:30 game time. Friday the Panthers will travel to Gonzales to complete the first round of District Play.

The Runnin' Lady Panthers went on the road to La Vernia looking to finish out the first round of district in a tie for 2nd place. The Lady Panthers were down 34-23 at Halftime, and came back roaring in the 2nd half to get the victory by a score of 62-58. This puts the girls overall record at 22-8 and 3-2 in district. Next game is Tuesday 6:30 at Wimberly.

If you are ready for laughs and to be entertained, please make sure to attend the 4th annual Mr. Navarro Pageant today, January 22 at 6:30 pm.
