Panthers Feeding Panthers Food Collection Drive

Navarro ISD’s Panthers Feeding Panthers program is collecting food for the holidays. Our Panthers will be home for a week at Thanksgiving and 2 weeks at Christmas, so several of our students will have little food during that time. We would like to send home easy to fix food items along with healthy snacks. We also want to provide each family with holiday meal items such as: instant potatoes, stuffing, yams, cranberries, etc. Items can be dropped off at the Elementary campus or monetary donations can be given to the Elementary secretary. Please make checks payable to Panthers Feeding Panthers.

Panthers Feeding Panthers

There are children in Navarro ISD that go home to an empty refrigerator? As teachers at Navarro Elementary we have unfortunately seen it firsthand. Some of these children eat breakfast and lunch at school and those might be the only meals that they get. If they are late to school and don’t tell their teacher that they haven’t had breakfast then they have not had anything to eat since lunch the day before….and we want them to learn to read and comprehend and multiply and divide?
So, the big question is, how are we going to fix this? We already have a plan, we just need your help!
