7th and 8th grade tennis teams for competed at the Junior High District Tennis Tournament.

The tournament was played here at our new tennis courts and was a huge success. Many compliments were expressed throughout the day about our new awesome facility, well-run tournament and over 300 players, spectators and fans were in attendance.
Here are the individual results as follows:
Aden Supak - 1st place (District Champion) - 8th grade boys singles
Haley Hoffmann - 1st place (District Champion) - 8th grade girls singles
Justin Ricketts & Preston Grobe - 3rd place - 8th grade boys doubles

K12 ALERTS via Text Messaging

Navarro ISD will be issuing alerts via text messaging through our K12 Alerts system starting May 1st. If you would like to receive alerts via text messaging, you will need to login and update your cell phone options. Our system has been upgraded to allow 2 cell phone entries per account. Click the link above to login to your account.

***Messages sent via text messaging might cause a fee to be charged to your cell phone bill. Navarro ISD is not responsible for any fees***

The district will run a test alert on Thursday evening April 27th.

NAVARRO ISD PROPOSED DISTRICT OF INNOVATION PLAN 2017

The 84th Texas Legislature passed House Bill 1842 in 2015. The statute provides each public school district the opportunity to be designated as a District of Innovation. By following a prescribed process for public input and committee planning, followed by website posting, Board action and TEA notification, a district may identify certain state statutes from which it wishes to be exempt.

High School Cheerleader Tryouts - March 6-10 - MANDATORY Parent Meeting - February 16th.

There will be a mandatory meeting in the High School Library on February 16 at 6:30 for all persons interested in cheerleader tryouts for the Navarro High School Junior Varsity and Varsity 2017-2018 Cheer Squads. Parents and guardians must attend and candidates are encouraged to accompany their parents. This includes 8th graders who will be incoming freshmen for the fall of 2017. 1. Boys & Girls JH Golf sign up is today immediately after school in the JH cafeteria.

2. The 7th and 8th grade tennis meeting is tomorrow, April 13th at 3:45 in the cafeteria. This meeting is mandatory for those who are interested.

3. Attention 8th graders:
Money for your Schlitterbahn trip is due by April 19th. No money will be accepted after this date. Please bring your money and a “Money Due” (bottom half of permission form) to Mrs. Cole on or before April 19th. “Money Due” slips can be picked up in the office or in Mrs. Cole’s room.

4. Teachers- Books for Fun is set up in the office until next Tuesday.
